Professional Background

Srinivasa Sharma, a commerce graduate, has been in the logistics business for more than 17 years, having worked at different levels. His entrepreneurship helped him to reach his goal of setting up a logistics company. In 2007, he co-founded 4S Logistics solutions with a sheer focus on serving the Indian market. Prior to this, he worked as a General Manager in a leading Customs Broking & Logistics solution company in Chennai.
Past Experiences

Qualified as 'Rule 9 & Rule 8 Holder’, under the Custom House Agent Regulations 1984 & 2004, Srinivasa Sharma has numerous credits added to his long career path in the logistics industry. In the past he was also employed in the GSA of a leading private domestic airline and worked in Air / Sea Freight Departments, Customs Clearance and Marketing and Business Development for over a period of 6 years.

His expert knowledge in Customs law and procedures and hands-on experience in clearances, Project imports, EPCG, DFIA Scheme Shipments, enabled him to assume a lead role in all the companies he served.
Expertise

He has specialized in handling Break Bulk and ODC Shipments, Capital Goods (Used & New ) under various schemes, Special Valuation Branch (SVB) right from the provisional circular till finalization of the provisional assessment and refund of Extra Duty Deposit (EDD), Special Economic Zone Clearances viz., Imports into SEZ, DTA Sales from SEZ to EOU & EOU to SEZ & Bond to SEZ.

C. Sathyanarayanan

Professional Background

As a qualified Chartered Accountant and one of the co-founder of 4S Logistics Solutions, Sathya has been in the logistics business for more than 20 years. Prior to this he was working as Chief Executive Officer of Container Freight Stations in one of the leading logistic solution provider in India.
Past Experiences

Qualified as 'Rule 9 & Rule 8 Holder’, under the Custom House Agent Regulations 1984 & 2004, Sathya has worked at different levels and gathered rich experience and was instrumental in bringing tangible business opportunities to all the organizations he has worked throughout his career. Formerly, he was working with Indian Railways and subsequently joined as General Manager of a leading Freight Forwarding company. He then took charge of the container freight station business with four container freight stations in South India and managed it as a separate business profit centre. He was also in charge of CHA operations of Tuticorin, Tirupur, Karur and Coimbatore branches.
Expertise

He possesses a rich and cumulative experience in the Accounts & Finance with special focus on logistics business. His expertise lies in CFS & warehouse operations. Sathya manages right from the project identification, finalizing the land and construction, applying for the license with Ministry of Infrastructure for setting up of Inland Container Depot / Container Freight Station projects.
